1. Reach Out For A Consultation
Contact us using the form at the bottom of this page or by phone. If you have a deck style in mind we would love to incorporate the look and style into your project. Pictures and ideas are a great way to help us customize your dream deck. Create a wish list and show us what you're looking for.
2. On site Consultation & Planning

Once we've gone over what your looking for, we'll select the look and style for your perfect deck. From here we'll finalize the details.
Details to choose include:

Add-ons, including skirt, railing, lighting & more
We'll collect the details and provide you with a quote for your project.
3. Design, Permits & Locates

We'll take it from here. We'll complete a 3D design of your deck to make sure you know what you're getting. You'll be able to see what your deck will look like. If you'd like to make any changes at this point, we'll help you with them.
Decks over 2', landings or front porches require a permit. We'll take care of this process for you.

We take care of the utility locates, ensuring there are no lines buried where the piles are being installed.
4. Construction
​
Planning, locates and permits are complete. It's time to build! From foundation to completion, we'll take care of the entire build.
For projects requiring permits, we'll set up the required city inspections for you.

Once complete you can sit back and relax on your new deck.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does My Deck Require a Building Permit?
A building permit is required for any deck higher than 2 feet above ground level or any deck which will eventually support an enclosed structure with a roof. (sun room, family room, etc.) A pergola can be built without a permit as it doesn't retain snow or water on top.

*We do NOT forgo permits if they are required, they are legally required and ensure your safety. Failure to obtain a build permit could result in fines, penalties, changes to the structure and even complete removal!

Do You Take Care of The Permit Process?
Yes! We take care of the entire permit process. From start to finish. All we ask of you is that you provide us with a plot plan with lot measurements and outer home measurements if you have one. If not we'll take care of the measurements.

Is There a Drawing / Plan?
Each deck starts with a plan/drawing. We use a 3D virtual software to design our decks, you'll know what you're getting before we start and our crew will have the plans to complete the job properly.

What About Call Before You Dig?
As we typically us screw piles for our installations, we're required to call before we dig! We take care of this step for you!
​
Is There a Contract?
Yes! All projects begin with a signed contract. The contract will outline the scope of work with what's included, specs, pricing, payment schedules and a start time frame.
​
Do You Offer Warranty?
Yes! We offer an industry leading 5 year workmanship limited liability warranty with issues directly related to our installation on all our deck structures! This includes workmanship defects and structure integrity, we also offer a 5 year no movement warranty on our piles that are 8ft or more. Our labour warranty does not include the products themselves, other restrictions apply. The composite/pvc products we use come with manufacturers warranty from 25 to 50 year for stains and fading. Nuterro Solutions is not responsible for product defects, these warranties are assigned to the owner upon completion of the project.

What kind of foundation do you use?
Under most circumstances, we use Screw Piles (helical piles) typically 8ft long. Stairs use a shorter model.
​
Are Your Crew Trained?
Our crew goes through continuous training to ensure they are proficient in the entire process of each task they complete. Our crews are lead by journeyman carpenters so you'll get the best results from people who know what they're doing.

Are You Insured?
We are fully insured and our employees are covered by WCB. If any issue arises, you're covered!
