Water Feature Start Up
Spring (Typically Early May)
​
Our Services Include:
​
1 - Drain the pond / reservoir
2 - Clean all filters and filter mats thoroughly and install them
3 - Pressure wash boulders and gravel in the pond / stream / fountain
4 - Remove all debris
5 - Re-stack any boulders that may have shifted or fallen out of place.
6 - Install lighting
7 - Thoroughly flush and pump out the entire pond until water is clear.
8 - Cover any exposed liner with existing stone.
9 - Install the pump and put filters back together.
10 - ***Refill the pond / fountain using customer supplied garden hose.
11 - Add de-chlorinator and initial dose of bacteria.
Please mention upon scheduling if you need any filter mats, fish food or water treatments to get you started for the new season.

***Please note that the customer will be responsible for filling the pond and plugging in the pump! We will leave the hose on a slow trickle if you are not home

1 - Inspect all systems to ensure they're functioning properly
2 - Turn off and unplug all electrical
3 - Drain the Biofalls®
4 - Drain the water approx. 40% - 50% - if desired 100%
5 - Remove and clean all filters and filter mats thoroughly
6 - Remove excess leaves & debris that can be accessed to prevent decay
7 - Cut back aquatic plants
8 - Remove and clean lighting
9 - Remove and clean the pump
10 - Disconnect and blow out auto water fill valve
11 - Remove and clean all electronic devices and pumps for safe indoor frost-free storage

***Please note, we recommend customers purchase a plastic storage bin for their pond supplies that require indoor winter storage​​
